Pistol I is an introductory pistol course in which attendants will become familiar with the basic operations of a pistol. Although this course is an introductory course it is recommended that attendants who wish to take more advanced pistol courses begin with this course. 

Course curriculum

• Safety Brief
• Weapon familiarization and handling
• Fundamentals of marksmanship
• Emergency reloads
• Magazine exchange

Equipment List:

• Semiautomatic Pistol (No Revolvers)
• 200 rounds of ammunition
• Two (2) detachable magazines
• Pistol holster (concealed or duty carry)
• Eye and ear protection (electronic ear protection preferred)
